All-Earth Citizens Foundation (AEC) celebrates International Women’s Day

Today is International Women's Day, a day where we recognize the social, economic, cultural, and political achievements of women towards gender equality and empowerment.

Every AEC member, especially men, have a vital role to play in this movement, to reflect on how we can actively support gender equality in our everyday lives.

One way men can support gender equality is by sharing parenting responsibilities. Women often bear the burden of childcare and housework, which is often unrecognized and undervalued. In families where both parents work, fathers should take on an equal share of the housework and childcare responsibilities. This will help create more equal families and provide women with opportunities to participate in work and social activities.

Another way to promote gender equality is by encouraging other men to support women's rights and opportunities, supporting for equal opportunities and rights for women, and listening to women's voices and opinions. When men take a leading role in supporting gender equality, it promotes a more just and equal society.

Furthermore, it's important for men to value women's voices and contributions. Women play an important role in social and political decision-making, and their voices and contributions should be equally valued. Men can support women's rights and interests by listening to women's ideas and opinions, respecting their choices and decisions, and promoting diversity and inclusion.

On this important day of International Women's Day, we must remember that gender equality requires our collective efforts. Men must join this movement, actively support women's equality, and promote social progress and development. True gender equality can only be achieved if we all work together.
