About AEC
Founded in 2018, AEC Foundation is a nonprofit organization and an authorized certifying organization for the President’s Volunteer Service Award. Our mission is to help teenagers and young adults develop and grow into more responsible global citizens and stronger leaders by providing them with a comprehensive educational platform, mentors, and coaches. Young people around the world participate in community service and solve global issues through research, outreach, and organizing events. Through these service projects, they gain a deeper understanding of global trends in a cross-cultural context, better understanding of themselves, and leadership skills to make a difference.
AEC hosts a variety of club whose mission, vision, and project objectives are aligned with the United Nations 2030 Sustainable Development Goals. Examples of current service projects include environmental protection, climate action, education equality, women's health, public health, advanced technology, and urban development. Presently, we have two clubs, Renewable Urban Pioneer and Plastic Pollution Reduction, that are conducting projects in cooperation with the United Nations. AEC Foundation will continue to inspire students to get engaged in meaningful service activities that will benefit society. We encourage them to join existing clubs or create their own clubs, and we will provide resources, structure, and training to support their endeavors.
